Mission Intelligence Group is looking to hire a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Standards Developer-Imagery (Mid-Level).

In this role, you will serve as a technical contributor and proactive team member for the development, profiling and application of GEOINT imagery and imagery exploitation standards.

General Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing specialized advice and assistance on complex technical projects. Provides technical contributions his/her field of expertise and independently performs a variety of system analysis, design and/or engineering tasks that are broad and innovative in nature. Participates in national level steering and advisory groups, panels and committees.
  • Contribute to development of Still and/or Motion Imagery Standards with the objective of facilitating compliance and interoperability through integration of NSG & ASG requirements while reducing technical and schedule risk in the following functional areas:
    • Still Imagery standards including, but not exclusive to:
      • NITF
      • NITF Extensions (MIE4NITF, SIDD, SICD, etc.)
      • NATO Imagery STANAGs (NSIF, for instance)
    • Motion Imagery standards & phenomenologies including, but not exclusive to:
      • Electro Optical (EO)
      • Large Volume Motion Imagery (LVMI)/Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI)
      • Infrared Motion Imagery Standards (IR)
      • Multispectral Imaging (MSI)
      • Hyper spectral imaging (HSI)
    • Community Sensor Models
  • Ensure current and future GEOINT standards will satisfy capability requirements at the program and strategic level across NGA, the NSG, and ASG.
  • Develop capability-based standards profiles & reference architectures to enable search, discovery, access, and retrieval, integrated intelligence, and advanced analytics are enabled.

Required Qualifications:

  • Able to develop & use complex concepts & processes.
  • Conduct root cause problem analysis.
  • Guide & support Junior level personnel.
  • Demonstrate self-guided individual work.
  • Proactive team member and growing leadership initiatives as part of a team.

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Master's degree, Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience, Associates degree plus 4 years of experience, or a minimum of 6 years of experience, in relevant field

Security Requirements: Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance. Active TS/SCI security clearance preferred.
